Who we are
Brock Recovery Group (BRG) brings together for-profit ventures and philanthropic initiatives under one cohesive mission: to drive meaningful, measurable, and lasting impact in the field of addiction treatment, recovery, and behavioral health. Through a unified structure, BRG blends innovation, investment, research, and community support to address addiction from multiple angles — clinical, social, academic, and systemic.
Through Brock Recovery Ventures (BRV), we invest in and operate businesses that advance the future of recovery. This includes evidence-informed sober living communities such as Tharros Recovery in Boston and Nashville, partnerships with pioneering companies like Goldfinch Health and Baseline Therapeutics, and strategic holdings across wellness, medical technology, behavioral health, and property-based recovery assets. BRV seeks out organizations that combine strong mission alignment with sustainable business models — from GLP-1–based addiction therapeutics, to opioid-sparing surgical navigation, to innovative residential recovery environments. Across all ventures, our goal is to elevate standards of care, expand access to life-saving services, and accelerate solutions that reduce addiction’s impact on individuals and families.
Through Brock Recovery Foundation (BRF), we advance philanthropic initiatives that complement and strengthen this work. BRF provides treatment scholarships, funds cutting-edge neuroscience and addiction research, and supports national institutions committed to improving outcomes — including major multi-year gifts to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the Brock Center for Applied Innovation, the Vanderbilt Center for Addiction Research, and collaborations with Caron Treatment Centers and other leading organizations. We champion initiatives that push the field forward, such as GLP-1 research, clinical innovation, community programming, prevention efforts, and stigma-reducing education. BRF is committed to making recovery accessible to all, particularly for individuals who would otherwise have limited options.
Together, Brock Recovery Ventures and Brock Recovery Foundation form a comprehensive ecosystem focused on innovation, compassion, and transformation. BRG exists to improve lives, strengthen communities, and help shape a future where effective, science-driven recovery is within reach for everyone.
